Non Profit Leadership & Management
- Founded a non-profit organization, House of Help City of Hope which has been the driving force behind the inspiration and motivation of over 60,000 individuals – helping them to restore, establish, and strengthen themselves back to stable and respectable lives
- Is a developer, landlord, and executor of real estate acquisitions - revitalizing a conglomerate of properties in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area.
- Cultivated targeted oriented programs, that provides various avenues for support and rehabilitation around homelessness and addictions. Interventions include addiction programming, relapse prevention, support for the homeless and homelessness prevention for graduates who are homeless survivors. The program also works with and supports the children of residents impacted by homelessness and addictions.
- Formed the “From Homeless to Home Ownership Program” (“FHTHO”) for any individual who maintains 5 or more years of abstinence from substance abuse, and who is responsible, accountable and can progress to the point of purchasing – and owning – their own home
Entrepreneurial
- Currently authoring a second book entitled “30 Days of Proverbs & Nuggets”
- Promotes various concerts and productions through close involvement with Family Productions Inc.
- Co-owner of Salon Anew in Temple Hills
- CEO of Plus Size clothing design enterprise
Community Service & Development
- Conducted community outreach to vulnerable and marginalized men, women and children including providing up to 400,000 pound of food annually.
- Collaborated with community partners to feed and clothe those in need.
- Provided financial support to two orphanages in Africa
- Shared and promoted knowledge on financial independence by teaching community residents the principles of economic empowerment.
- Developed the Beat the Streets community outreach program geared toward youth and participated in activities to keep them off the streets during summer months
